This rather simplistic revelation seemed acceptable in the early days making us recognize our animal roots.Simultaneously individualism and self-importance grew, but does this egocentric view still ring true?
In recent decades life has been stripped down to its basic building blocks, seen as operating in a responsive DNA. We now know how a perceptive, interdependent, and delicate life is interconnected to the environment. And we know how volatile environments are.
With this paradigm shift the importance of the individual (however small) is seen as an all equal and valuable part of this group.
This comes with newly defined duty with emphasis on progressing our morality and develop a reliable epistemology.
Under this more perspicacious definition the new threat to our survival is corruption, lies and greed. This should be fought on a united and global front wherever it is uncovered.
